It’s necessary to tighten the roof fabric enough to avoid “hammocks” on the roof and also re-tighten once or twice again after a few months of use. This is important when assembly in cold weather (autumn and winter) because the fabric is stiff then and when we got the sun and warm weather afterward it will make the fabric “slack” again and need to be re-tightened before next winter.

It’s the owners' responsibility to take off snow immediately if not slide off by itself.

Handled 40+mph wind gusts

I assembled my 20x30 tensioned fabric arch a little over a year ago in central TX. Fairly easy for 1 person to put up in a day or so. Only needed help to set arches and pull arch fabric over frame. So far, it has held up to high wind, hard rain, Texas sun, and half inch hail. Its weak point is the end walls. There is no way to secure the bottom which allows rain and debris to blow in under the loose bottom edge. The ends are subject to quite a bit of wind force and I have experienced several failures in zippers, buckles, and grommets.
